RENEW
Through ReNew South Africa, we work with local churches to turn their unused land and overgrown spaces into play parks for local children. This takes place alongside helping local churches and schools with their children’s work and teaching programmes.
As well as the project, each ReNew trip gives young people the chance to experience a different culture, and highlights issues of injustice through poverty and discrimination. The trip provides an opportunity to explore God’s response to these issues and to challenge your own attitude and life choices as you learn about and reflect on the way other people live.
Urban Saints has been partnered with J-Life since 2018 sending young people to their projects in South Africa. J-Life currently works in 32 African countries and aims to eventually be established in all 54! You can find out more about J-Life here: www.jlife.org.za
