Will you support the development of Urban Saints Camps in 2021 and beyond by making a one-off investment?
Camps can make a significant impact on the lives of children and young people. Put simply, they are faith- transforming times where life-long memories are made. As with many areas of life, Covid-19 has sadly had an impact and we need your help ensuring Urban Saints Camps come back stronger from this challenging season.
Our teams of volunteers have done incredible jobs creatively adapting Camps to run online, engaging with children and young people in completely new ways, and sharing the Good News faithfully in challenging circumstances. Throughout 2020 and 2021 the model had to change, but the Camps ministry very definitely continued. And now we face the next challenge, as we move towards running face to face residential ministry again.
There are costs associated with relaunching Camps and rebuilding momentum. We would love to be able to provide equipment for each Camp to have the additional things they may need to run in a Covid-safe manner. This might be new games equipment as activities are adapted, additional safety equipment to ensure Camp runs safely etc.
We are also passionate to establish new Camps and re-grow the Camps programme, but the development fund that facilitates such growth is now depleted.
