Give a gift for young people this Christmas

4th Dec 2020

Christmas is coming

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16 NIV

Christmas lights in the darkness. The smell of freshly baked mince pies. The rustle of wrapping presents. Carols heralding the arrival of Jesus - God with us.

In the pandemic, God is with us. In March we decided to be bold and courageous financially; to keep going for young people in their time of need. You can read about the difference this has made from the young people themselves below.

Unfortunately, a number of supporters have had to reduce their giving due to COVID-19 and with six weeks to go this year, we face a deficit of £160,000.

This Christmas, could you help us to keep going at full capacity with a gift for young people? Like Maya in the picture above?

I pray that, despite the current challenges, you have a very happy Christmas.

The difference made in the lives of young people

"Even though we were missing out on everything else - Urban Saints was still there."

"It could have been so easy for Camps and Groups to say 'Alright, we're not doing anything' but they put so much effort in and showed how much they cared about us."

"They've really reached out to us. We really felt included in the Urban Saints family."

"My favourite thing was probably the talks because it is something I look forward to every week. They kept preaching the Word of God."

"I often left the Zoom meetings thinking 'That was just what I needed to hear today.'"
